Visit to Grandaunt’s House in Australia

Today I went for lunch to my grandaunt and granduncle’s house. They have lived in the same house for 40 years. Lunch was not exciting but their garden had interesting plants that I have not seen before. Mainly flowers though, which are not as interesting as vegetables.

Here is their salvia on the right. They are part of the mint family.

And below is their monstera plant. Its fruit is like a large sausage and comes off in little hexagons. I have not eaten it before, because it is very acidic and I am a bit allergic to things. Mummy has and she says it tastes just like a mixed fruit salad with a lot of pineapple. This website agrees with her.
