The Many Faces of a Mushroom

Mushrooms!!!

Lately I was given 2 mushroom presents. The first was a book mushroom that Che Che RZ gave me all the way from London. You get a kit with spawn in it and you wet a book and stuff the spawn between the pages. Eventually large Yorkshire mushrooms will pop out. That’s what the kit said, anyway. Nothing has popped out yet though.

Last Saturday my friend C’s mum brought over a container mushroom kit. It looks like a fat bottle shaped lump of sawdust. You unscrew the lid, soak the contents and then mushrooms are supposed to pop out. Well they did and they look awfully scary. Grandma says SHE is certainly not going to eat them. Have a look:
